From a measly intern to a senior developer

About

I'm Rich, currently a devops intern with a path likely pointing toward backend engineering. This site is my public learning notebook: I document the things I work through — servers, CI/CD, Linux, services, code — and publish one post a week.

Why learn in public

Because the proof of learning is what you can explain and share, not what you quietly did on one laptop. Writing forces me to understand things properly, and publishing on a schedule keeps the streak alive. Everything here is the honest curve: intern → whoever I become next.

What you'll find here

  • Blog — one polished post a week: lessons, tutorials, project write-ups.
  • Notes — evergreen reference material I keep updating.
  • Log — short weekly retrospectives: what I did, broke, learned.
  • Projects — long-form write-ups with links to the code.

Where else I write

Posts are cross-published to Dev.to and Hashnode with a canonical link back here. Source for everything lives onGitHub — including this site.

One rule

Write about the technology, never about my employer's internals. If a post exists here, it's something I'd happily explain in an interview.
